Washington Women's History Consortium

About the WHC

Overview of WHC Participants

The WHC currently includes three participant types: legislatively mandated partners; associate partners; and local grant awardees. Both legislatively mandated partners and local grant awardees have received funding from the WHC to process women history materials for use on the WHC web site. The associate partner category is used for organizations currently using the ContentDM software package to create digital collections of materials for their organizations. The use of the ContentDM software allows for collaboration through remote harvesting of collection data related to women's history in Washington state.

See RCW 27.34.370 Responsibility #2 for more detailed information on Partner collaboration.
