Women's History Consortium
WHC Partners
All initial Consortium members are state-funded institutions. Membership was established
by invitation of the director of the Washington State Historical Society with notice
to the Board of Advisors. Member responsibilities were formulated by consensus of
the Consortium members and reported to the Board of Advisors.
The Partners have collaborated in four areas:
- Women's History Consortium website

- WHC links to Partner websites and vice versa.
- Collaboration with Partners with CONTENTdm collection management software.

Collaboration with Partners without CONTENTdm collection management
software includes importing or entering their data into the Washington State
Historical Society CONTENTdm collection to be searchable on the WHC
website.
- Grant awards for processing women's history materials
- Recent Women's History Collections Initiative Agreement.
- Women’s History Workshops
